round one - early spring

Pre and Post emergent herbicides to control weeds along with fertilizer for spring green up.

round two - late spring

This application will consist of fertilizer to maintain color along with a second pre emergent and post emergent for weed control.

round three - early summer

Time released fertilizer to maintain color and spot weed control as needed.

round four - mid summer

Time released fertilizer will be applied to promote root growth and establish newly seeded turf.

round five - late summer

Lime is applied to maintain pH and prepare soil for upcoming aeration and overseeding.

round six - fall

A high phosphorous fertilizer will be applied to promote root growth and establish newly seeded turf.

round seven - late fall

Heavy fertilizer application to help maintain good color during winter months. Weed control applied as needed.

This program includes all of the Crabapple Basic Program plus two applications of a fungicide to prevent and/or supress turf damage due to fungus (brown patch, dollar spot). Also included in the Crabapple Pro is one application of insecticide to eliminate turf damaging insects.
