round one - early spring

Pre and Post emergent herbicides to control weeds along with fertilizer to promote root growth.

round two - late spring

This application will consist of a high nitrogen fertilizer to promote spring green up along with a second pre and post emergent herbicide.

round three - early summer

Time released fertilizer is applied to promote green color along with broadleaf weed control as needed. This is also a good time for core aeration.

round four - mid summer

Time released fertilizer is applied to maintain color, broadleaf weed control applied as needed.

round five - fall

Late summer application will consist of a time release fertilizer that will help the turf remain healthy and green during the summer heat.

round six - late fall

Preemergent and broadleaf weed control is applied for control of weeds during winter months. Fertilizer is also applied to promote root growth. Lime is applied to maintain proper pH which assures efficient Crabapple fertilizers.

round seven - winter

Lime is applied during the winter months to ensure your lawn uses Crabapple fertilizers efficently.

This program includes all of the Crabapple Basic Program plus two applications of a fungicide to prevent and/or supress turf damage due to fungus (brown patch, dollar spot). Also included in the Crabapple Pro is one application of insecticide to eliminate turf damaging insects.
